SMP Living Spotlight!

So I don't know about you, but lately I feel like been dying to spend every spare minute pouring over the pages of SMP Living. Don't get me wrong, I can never ever get enough of  the world of real weddings, but when it comes to my other loves (fashion, travel, food, and the like), it's really the perfect place to be. And this week has been a pretty darn good one on SMP Living if you ask me. From cake decorating 1o1, to traveling the world with Jose Villa, to DIYs that make me feel a little extra crafty, it's been an overload of inspiration that deserves a special recap. And we've got it for you right here!

If you're anything like me, you may be lacking just a bit in your table setting skills. It can feel all to overwhelming, but thankfully our own Abby Larson walked us through the easy step-by-step. With both a "formal" and "casual" place setting how-to, it's a must-keep cheat sheet for any and all hostess adventures to come.

So now that you've got the place setting down, what about dessert? These BEST EVER "Better than Heaven Cakeletts" should do the trick! Easy, delicious, adorably packaged, we know these cakeletts in a jar will be the perfect addition to any party you plan.

Nothing makes me want to put on my crafty pants like a good DIY. And this super cute tote bag is just about as good as it gets. It's the must-have accessory for the summer, and can be DIYed at a fraction of the cost. With some rope, basic sewing skills, and just a little pinch of patience, you can be rocking this handmade gem in the warm-weathered months ahead.
