I love Georgia’s take on rustic. Sure the wedding might take place in a barn, and sure, there might be cowboy boots involved, but those Georgia folks know how to add the perfect splash of sophistication to dress up that rustic feel. Rustic elegance? It’s been coined by Georgians. Case and point – this gorgeous Spring Lake soiree captured by Brita Photography. It’s DIY and downright gorgeous, and it’s all sitting pretty right here.
From Brita Photography… Everything about Jennifer and Seth’s wedding was rustic and a little vintage; filled with DIY details (hand painted wooden signs, burlap decorations and table runners). Their outdoor venue at Spring Lake Events was the perfect blend of Southern charm, decorated with details that Jennifer spent hours making in her garage. Mason jars with white flowers, lined the wooden pews down the aisle; wood, hand painted signs directing you to the wedding down by the lake; and a gorgeous wooden arbor at the altar, covered in beautiful, cascading white flowers and Baby’s Breath.
After Jennifer and Seth said I Do, we walked all around the venue for amazing bride and groom portraits. They were so natural in front of the camera, and so natural together. The lighting was amazing, and their timeline allowed us plenty of time to capture amazing pictures. When they stepped into the reception, announced as Mr. + Mrs. to all their friends and family, the celebration and dancing began…and didn’t end until the sparkler departure.
