Feast your eyes on the White Cosmopolitan, which plays beautifully with a vintage wedding style. We were inspired by romantic glamor with a Downton Abbey feel. Think a glowing evening affair full of sparkling, vintage details.

For our twist on the White Cosmopolitan, we added vintage gold-rimmed glasses dipped in edible glitter and garnished with white orchid blossom for a finishing touch. The result? Undeniably glamorous and scrumptious to the last glittering drop.

And that’s not all, folks. Along with the perfect signature cocktail comes a DIY perfect for displaying all the yumminess on the menu. In keeping with our vintage glamor feel, we created three ways for displaying your drink menu on a gilded mirror. It doesn’t get much more glamorous than that.

Supplies:

Mirror

Posca extra broad paint marker in white

Posca medium paint marker in white

Masking tape

Q-tips

Glass cleaner

Magic Eraser

Use masking tape to lay out horizontal guide lines to lay out your letters and keep them straight and even. If you want to make sure your letters stay the same size, put a masking tape line on the top and bottom so that the letter heights will be the same.

Use your extra broad paint marker to block out each letter. Try to center each word or phrase. Repeat until the full menu is laid out.

Remove the masking tape and even out each letter, and add in details like curls and swoops with the medium paint marker.

Dip a Q-tip in glass cleaner to remove any small details of marker you need to. Spray some cleaner on a paper towel and wipe larger areas where you can see fingerprints.

Hang the mirror and admire your handiwork!

To Remove: Spray the glass with glass cleaner and rub with paper towels to remove.  Any tricky bits will come right off with a Magic Eraser.

Supplies:

Mirror

White vinyl

Exacto knife or scissors

Inkjet printer

Glass cleaner

Cocktail menu template (use Adobe Illustrator CS6 to edit)

Birch Std font

Diehl Deco font

Download our menu template, and edit it to suit your menu. Cut the vinyl into 8.5×11″ sheets.

Print out the template onto the back (liner) side of the vinyl. Depending on how big you want the letters to be, you may have to print it out in sections.

Using scissors or an exacto knife, cut out the letters and scrolls.

Peel the backing off each letter and apply to the mirror, using your fingers to smooth out any air bubbles.

Clean the mirror with glass cleaner to remove any fingerprints, and enjoy! *Tip: if you want to make it even easier on yourself, you can buy pre-made vinyl letters and pop them right on!

To Remove:  Peel the letters right off, and clean the glass to remove any residue!

Supplies:

Acrylic paint in color of your choice (metallics would look great!)

Foam paintbrushes

Contact paper

Exacto knife

Razor blade

Glass cleaner

Q-tips

Permanent marker

Cut a roll of contact paper to fit the size of your mirror. You may need to use more than more section to cover the mirror.

Remove the backing, and apply the contact paper firmly to the mirror surface, smoothing out any air bubbles.

Draw out your letters using the permanent marker.

Use the exacto knife to cut away the inside of the letters.

Paint the letters with the paint. Don’t be afraid of painting outside the lines.

Let dry 5-10 minutes, and then peel off the contact paper. Use the exacto knife to lift off any tricky bits. Use a Q-tip dipped in glass cleaner to remove any unwanted paint.

Spray glass cleaner on a bit of paper towel and wipe away any fingerprints. Hang and enjoy!

To Remove:  Scrape off paint with a razor, and remove any residue with glass cleaner!
