From the Bride… My fiance just proposed to me, and Shar helped him plan everything… and I was SO SURPRISED. Everything was unbelievable! I am not one to be shocked, because I am very inquisitive (probably to the point of annoyance) but Shar helped him trick me well. Our proposal was so romantic – like something out of a movie!
Shar arranged for a photographer to ask my fiance and me to pose for a promotion for the Mystic Blue boat on Navy Pier. The photographer and assistant said that if we participated we would receive free Bulls tickets. Well, that was it – I bought it hook, line and sinker (pun intended). The photographer and assistant (decked in Mystic Blue and Official Photog gear) asked us to take a few last pictures on the Mystic Blue and we obliged. They lead us to a table display for Valentine’s Day (again a promotion for the boat), and on the table were framed pictures of me and my fiance amongst chocolate covered strawberries, framed love quotes, champagne, and roses. Next thing I knew he was down on one knee and a guitarist appeared playing one of our favorite songs! It was magical and the photographer captured everything. It could not have been more perfect!!!!
