Winnipeg Winter Inspiration Shoot from This Sweet Love Photography

All of you lovely brides out there just dying to wear your wedding dress again, take note.  Because you can definitely learn a thing or two from this gorgeous Winnipeg sweetie, who joined forces with a dream team of Canadian vendors to create a seriously stunning inspiration shoot as a tribute to her Scottish roots.  I know, I know.  She's awesome.  And the resulting "Cherish Your Dress" session?  A downright amazing day filled with the fab stylings of Styled Wedding & Event Planning, beautiful bouquets from Purple Peony and stunning images from This Sweet Love Photography.  See it all here.

From Noella from This Sweet Love Photography... A couple weeks ago I was able to photograph a "Cherish Your Dress" session. This bride was married in September 2012 and she was dying to wear her dresses again. It was a mild winter day so we got a team together to style her session. We couldn't have asked for a better day. A tribute to the brides scottish roots, the 2013 Emerald Pantone color and of course some fur was all a part of the vision for this day. We wanted to make sure that every aspect of the session was filled with lots of texture from the cake right down to the wedding dress. The photo session took place at The Gates on Roblin which is a gorgeous wedding venue in Winnipeg Manitoba, We choose the venue for the natural light indoors as well as the grounds which just so happened to have loads of trees and two horses on site! Purple Peony made sure to create two bouquets for the session both which were a hearty variety with a tradition feel. One of the bouquets was tied in fur with a string of pearls to keep with the Canadian classy feel. The linens were navy blue which tied into the jewel tones perfectly. The stationery was a combination of the emerald jewel colour as well as the tartan pattern.
