Minnesota Wedding from Jeff Loves Jessica
Wedding Wednesday is here yet again for your much needed dose of mid-week pretty. And while every SMP wedding is beautiful in its own right, I think today's slew of features are especially stunning. We're starting it all off with a blush-toned beauty set amongst a Minnesota flower farm. The whole day was documented by Jeff Loves Jessica, and there's also a film from eMotion to tie everything together.
From Jeff Loves Jessica...We are so thrilled to share images from perhaps the most beautiful wedding we photographed all year! Andie & Andrew's September day at Camrose Hill Flower Farm in Stillwater, MN was complete bliss. Both the bride & groom are wonderfully creative and they did an amazing job of turning their wedding day dreams into reality and a magnificent experience for their guests. Their soft, pastel color palette, elegant floral design by Cindie (the flower farm owner), and divine details combined with a whimsical outdoor setting made this perfectly planned day gorgeous beyond words! Even more radiant than their lovely details, was Andie & Andrew's unmistakable, tremendous joy in marrying each other! They waited to see each other until Andie walked down the aisle, where they exchanged heartfelt personal vows, surrounded by so many dear friends and family!
From the Bride....As I write this entry, I can’t help but think how exciting it is that our wedding will be on a blog. Not just any blog but Style Me Pretty, the site that consumed hours of my time every week while planning. I drooled over every detail and at times was lost in the endless possibilities of pretty things. It can be overwhelming at times to think about all the options you have – and believe me; we had to make all those decisions on colors, caterers and cake. But for me and Andrew it was simple. Our big day was about us - a guy and girl that love each other. We focused on throwing a great party, celebrating with all our friends and family while sharing a very intimate moment – showcasing our love and committing to one another for the rest of our lives.
For our special day, we only looked at one venue and our mind was made up. Camrose Hill Flower Farm had the perfect combination of vintage glam and down-to-earth. We could have chandeliers and at the same time, a bonfire for s’mores. Converted from a dairy farm, the land is now owned and operated by Cindie Sinclair, who is also the florist. Cindie converted abandoned farm fields into beautiful gardens and old barns into workshops. The farm will always have a special place in our hearts and I know we’ll visit for years to come.
And then, we have our lovely photographers. I first discovered Jeff loves Jessica on Style Me Pretty. I saw a beautiful shoot and realized that it was done locally in Minnesota. I called them immediately. We clicked instantly with the adorable husband and wife team, a couple so sweet and smiley that you immediately feel in good company. They captured so many amazing moments from our wedding and engagement shoot. Memories that we cherish so much, we truly can’t thank them enough!
Like most couples, the months leading up to the wedding were filled with DIY Projects. We were busy making beanbag boards, cake stands, signs, blankets and table numbers…you name it. We involved our friends and family as much as we could, for projects and for the big day itself. Our friends played all the music during the ceremony and were our DJ and Emcee for the reception. We even recruited our super-star aunt to be our day-of coordinator. Our parents and siblings supported us along the way and we truly couldn’t have done it without all their help!
While the aesthetics of the day were everything we hoped for, the most beautiful part was being surrounded by all our loved ones. It’s true what they say that it goes by in a flash, but it is the most wonderful flash that a couple in love could ever wish for. Thanks to everyone who made September 22, 2012 the best day of our lives…so far!
