I think it's safe to say I heart everything about this whimsical Portland wedding. Set in the backyard of the bride's famliy home, this couple opted to skip the stuffy affair for a more relaxed and unpretentious party. From Jessica Hill Photography...Kate and Brandon are a hip Portland, Oregon couple that were originally planning a huge wedding in a high end venue, but instead invested the money they would have spent on a big wedding into buying their first home, and in turn had an intimate and unforgettable backyard wedding. The happy couple got ready at their new home (along with the Bride's bunny Stella!) and were married at her parent's Mid-Century Modern home in the Mt. Tabor area. Many of the details were DIY, including the cake and the favors.
