Central Park Boathouse Wedding from Craig Paulson + Ang Weddings and Events

Craig Paulson Photography plus Ang Weddings and Events plus the Central Park Boathouse? That sounds like a recipe for perfection. And one look at these drop dead gorgeous images, you’ll see that’s precisely the case. But the best part of it all? It’s this couple. Two people who put SO much thought into their big day to ensure their guests had the absolute best time, and from the looks of it, I’m pretty sure they did. See it all here.

From the Bride… Having our wedding at the Boathouse, in Central Park in New York was wonderful. New York is where I am from; many of my husband’s family members live there; it’s accessible for out of town guests; and many of our friends had people they could stay with. We wanted to center our wedding on bringing our family and friends together and having them get to know each other. Since my husband is a mathematician, the escort cards contained equations, which led people to their table, and sparked lots of conversation during cocktail hour. The tables were organized so that people with similar interests could meet each other, and we sent emails in advance explaining why we thought each group would hit it off. To our delight, several new friendships developed and have continued since our wedding.

We enjoyed every minute, thanks to our wedding planner, Tzo Ai, whose calming presence and attention to detail meant that we didn’t have to worry about anything. The vendor choice I knew would be most important to me in the long run was of our photographer, and Craig and his team exceeded all our expectations. Their photos beautifully capture the entire day, and they gamely trooped in the rain with all their equipment through Central Park’s Ramble after the reception for an extra shoot that remains one of our favorite memories of the day.
