When I think through the most perfect places to host a wedding, a quaint country inn almost always tops the list. I dream of a day that oozes with charm alongside a sense of quiet romance. And this Georgia soiree is built around that exact sentiment plus all the pretty we so desperately love. Watson-Studios documented the day, resulting in the most gorgeous full gallery right here.
From the Bride…We were so lucky to hold our wedding at The Inn at Serenbe, a working farm and sustainable community located about 30 minutes south of Atlanta. Our goal was to have our wedding close to home but feel as if our friends and family had been whisked away from the city to a more calming, serene environment, and Serenbe was the perfect place. In order to accentuate Serenbe’s natural beauty, we tried not to go overboard with decor, keeping things as rustic as possible while still being elegant, and we chose a mostly neutral color palette with pops of purple.
I wasn’t exactly a stress-free bride, so I especially enjoyed working with all of our wonderful vendors, who made the process more tolerable than I ever expected! We searched high and low for a photographer, and I’m so glad we chose Watson-Studios out of Knoxville. Immediately upon meeting Natalie and Dan, they made us feel so comfortable, and I knew they really “got” us. After our wedding, they even described the event as a “mixture of fun and romance, fashion and charm,” which was exactly how we had envisioned it while planning!
It was also super special to work with several of our very talented friends, like our calligrapher, Emmy Scruggs, our hair stylist, Martin Spradlin, and our wedding planner, Debbie Felker. Thanks to everyone who helped make our special day so memorable!
