We all remember our first kiss. Whether it was middle school, high school, college or beyond, it’s one of those memories you just don’t forget. And for these two sweethearts, it was more meaningful than most. Because their first kiss wasn’t on the playground or in the hallway outside of the dorms, it was on their wedding day… right after being pronounced man and wife. Heartwarming, no? From Kristin Partin… Jessica & Josh are unique. I’m sure that probably goes without saying since most folks think of themselves that way. But… Jessica & Josh live out their life fearlessly and without a concern for others’ opinions or judgement. Jessica, a wedding photographer and Joshua, a striking (smarty pants) accountant, found their way to each other through similar beliefs. Both in their mid-twenties, not only did they wait until they found God’s perfect match to share in their first kiss, they even waited until their wedding day. I admired their courage and I found it strikingly unique & admirable. Their wedding took place under a giant tree in the middle of Celina, Texas during one of Texas’ rare cold fronts. It was windy, chilly and perfect for their delicate vows. Married by her father, there wasn’t a dry eye in the place… nor a parent hoping their children didn’t wind up exactly like said bride & groom. Needless to say, I was honored to have been a part.
