From the very moment we met these two sweeties back in September, we knew we were going to love their wedding. Love, love, love their wedding. Because not only do they happen to be the type of cuties you instantly fall in love with (and I mean instantly), they also happen to be an uber-stylish duo to boot. And, well. That’s pretty fabulous, if you ask us. So, to say we’ll be spending our Thursday soaking in every last second of their Big Day as captured by the ever-wonderful Artworks Wedding Cinema? That’s an understatement. And you should most definitely join us, because it’s just that good.
Oh, and we’re not done yet. Check out the amazing gallery of images captured by David Strauss Photography. They’re awesome.
From the Bride… My husband and I met while attending Lincoln Memorial University in the small southern town of Harrogate, Tennessee. We wanted a wedding that reflected the roots of our relationship with a laid back country wedding. We were so blessed to have my uncle officiate the ceremony which was more than we could have dreamed of. It was a perfect destination wedding weekend with friends and family from all over the country who enjoyed the property as well as the fresh pecans from the grove.
I planned and made almost every detail of the wedding from the invitations to the centerpieces and decor with the help of Laura Brown and Cheryl Meir. Although it was a challenge planning the wedding in a town I had only visited for a few days while living in Boca Raton, Florida it was amazing to see it all come together at the end.
My favorite part of the day was sitting down and enjoying the meal at the long farm table that I had be envisioning for months then dancing the night away with our best friends and love of my life. Advice I would give to future brides is to RELAX and take in the day. Don’t worry about every little detail. Things aren’t going to go as planned, you just have to roll with it, and enjoy the first of many incredible and wonderful days you have with your husband. The wedding is only the beginning of many wonderful years and memories to come make the most of it!
