A beautiful couple mixed with a location that never fails in the breathtaking view department is a win win. From the bride...We were faced with the challenge of planning the wedding of our dreams in just three short months. We had a few obstacles in our way, namely that I was new to California from South Africa, and was not familiar with any local vendors. Fortunately, we were blessed to have family and community who come around and helped us pull everything together. We really wanted to have an elegant, old-Hollywood feeling with some international elements. Afterall, we had friends and family who came from across the globe (12 nations) to celebrate our day with us. We fell in love with the Bacara for our venue because of the Spanish flare mixed with breath-taking views of the Pacific Ocean. It was the perfect place for our international guests too because it gave a wonderful reflection of Santa Barbara. My advice for brides is to ask reliable people to help with different parts of the planning. If you can delegate certain tasks, it will not only take some weight off of your shoulders, but it can help your friends and family feel like they are a part of the wedding.
