From Kate Whelan Events... Alyson and Adam had a gorgeous and personalized wedding at the Crocker Art Museum. With their ceremony held in the old Crocker Ballroom, they were surrounded by incredible craftsman detailing, rich wood, and beautiful paintings. Flourish provided vibrant blooms to line the aisle and accent the altar with moss green, warm orange, and pops of vibrant purple anchored by deep navy. Candlelight provided a special ambiance as guests arrived.
After the short and sweet ceremony, guests headed downstairs to the Crocker Courtyard where they enjoyed a cocktail hour on white modern lounge furniture around a stark white dance floor. Pops of color came from blooms on the tables and the ambient lighting accenting the unique architecture of the surrounding building. Guests were invited to their tables and found their table assignment from a large seating chart anchored by a giant easel.
Guests each found a custom mini painting at their placesetting (all 170 of them were custom-painted by a family friend) surrounded by wicket chargers, moss green napkins and a navy place card with handwritten white calligraphy. Tables were draped in deep navy and accented with blooms of green, orange and purple. Candlelight added ambiance to each tablescape. Stationery featuring a navy chevron and custom monogram added a touch of personal style to each place setting. All danced the night away under the beautiful lighting, with a swirling gobo atop the dance floor and enjoyed the beautiful simple and elegant cake accented with fresh flowers.
