From the moment I laid eyes on this backyard beauty, I knew we were in for something special. Not only because it was photographed by the talented Leslee Mitchell, but because finding a wedding of such exceptional elegance yet casual rusticity is an absolute rarity. And while I could go on for days about how much I adore all the vintage details and so lovingly envy that beautiful Bride, let me lead you to the full gallery for even more of this most gorgeous affair.
My friends helped out with a few DIY projects to personalize our day. Mason jars were used as flower vases. Each one was wrapped with twine and lace. We borrowed antique lace linens from family and friends to use on the dinner tables. One of my favorite things was the candlelight. We wrapped wire around jars and hung them from the ceiling of the clear tent. The ambience was incredible. Everything I had dreamed about came to life, and it turned out to be even more perfect than I imagined.
From Leslee Mitchell… Caitlin and Adam’s wedding was the type of wedding where I found myself repeatedly looking at my watch because I did not want the night to end. Simply put, Caitlin was stunning. She was the centerpiece of this event and she dripped with elegance.
