Laguna Beach Wedding from Hazelnut Photography + LVL Weddings & Events
Meant to be. That's exactly how I would describe these two sweeties, who (along with their guests) braved Hurricane Sandy, cancelled flights and packing by candlelight to make it to their Laguna Beach wedding. Yep, nothing (and I mean nothing) was going to stop this adorable duo from saying "I do"... and once they hit solid ground in The Golden State? Pure magic. From Hazelnut Photography... They almost didn't make it to their wedding day. Set to leave their current hometown in New Jersey just as Hurricane Sandy was pounding the coast, flights were delayed for days and packing was completed by candlelight. But, by some miracle, with departures from the west coast at about 50%, every one of their guests made it out to Laguna Beach for a few days of incredible weather and an absolutely gorgeous wedding!
As an outsider looking in, you would never have known what Piper & Jeff had just come through. They were absolutely glowing! Light and love beams from each of them and it was such a joy to photograph them together. Piper had considered every detail, adding a few that I had never seen myself. In the middle of the ceremony, their mothers poured a bit of wine from two small carafes into a larger carafe. Their officiant, Jeff's brother, then poured the combined wine into glasses for each of them. Wait staff passed champagne to each guest and a mid-ceremony toast was made to their new life; like the small separate carafes of wine, now becoming a single larger and fuller one.
It was an incredible day, with two generous, talented and beautiful people tying the knot.
