Boston Wedding from Person + Killian Photography + SD Events
We love a good, old fashioned traditional wedding here at SMP Massachusetts and The Four Seasons in Boston is basically the best place to have one. This classic beauty, designed and planned by SD Events, is picture perfect in every way. From Person + Killian Photography... We started the day getting ready with the bride and groom, in their own separate rooms, at the Four Seasons. Bettina and John wanted to have a traditional “first look” moment before the evening’s ceremony, and the hotel’s grand staircase overlooking the Public Gardens was the perfect place to do it!
With a few hours to spare before the ceremony, we took the opportunity to get some formal photographs of the couple with friends and family. We utilized the Four Season’s beautiful indoor spaces for photos with parents and siblings, then moved across the street to the Public Garden to get some great outdoor pictures of the couple with their wedding party. The ceremony itself was held in the Four Season’s own Governor’s Room.
With formal photographs already out of the way, Bettina and John were able to enjoy their bright and lively cocktail hour with guests in the hotel’s Aujourd’hui Room, while the Main Ballroom was being prepared for the reception. The space looked soft and romantic thanks to the great planning and design by SD Events, with gorgeous floral arrangements by Mimosa. The guests had no trouble getting this party started, and with some help from Boston Beantown Band, they kept celebrating all night!
