From the Bride... We went for a eclectic vintage theme. To start we had our invitations made into a book which started the vintage theme. When our guesses arrived they walked into a vintage bazaar. Lots of vintage ladders, petrol cans, old Kodak cameras, a claw bath tub filled with pot plants, glass bell jars with succulents in a large farm table with type writer and vintage US mail letter box for our wishing well. Our guest book was vintage postcards that people could write there wishes and put in the post box. Bingo wheels and bingo boards, a collection of vintage frames scattered and a beautiful library card draws which we pulled out random draws and put bottles and jars in. We had 200 guests on tables on 10 approx. Each table was designer differently with old books, marbles, candles, mixed flowers, in a mix of bottles and jars, scrabble piece for the name settings, bombineree was a vintage journal and sugar almonds in a canvas bag which everyone had a different love quote. Above the wedding table we had 6 pendant lights that I hung from a pole. The lights sat in between the bridal party and had fantastic Edison globes which set on the lighting.
We had 6 little boys at the wedding two which are my baby brothers who we had as ring bearer. Lachlan walked down the aisle with a ping pong bat which we painted with blackboard paint and wrote here comes the bride. Josh walked down with a bowl inscribed "today, tomorrow and forever" mr and mrs Harry 10.11.12. The boys wore black slacks with a white shirt with sleeves rolled up, converse shoes, suspenders and matching black and white dot ties like the groomsmen.
