Western Australia Wedding from Angela Higgins
From Angela Higgins... Christina and Ryan were married towards the end of 2012 at the private Freshwater Bay Yacht Club in Peppermint Grove, Western Australia. If I had to choose one word to sum up their day it would be "romance". With soft colours of deep lavender and grey mixed with peonies of fuchsia, Christina and Ryan showed a lot of restraint to create a romantic and dreamy wedding day. Their flowers in particular took centre stage and were provided by Christina's friend Lindy of Lush Floral Designs.
Photographing Christina and Ryan was an absolute joy and if it weren't for the incoming storm that afternoon, we could have perhaps spent the entire afternoon on location with their fabulous bridal party. As it was, we had just enough time after their ceremony for their portraits along the Swan River before joining their guests at their reception at the prestigious Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. On arriving you were greeted by a dessert buffet which was no less than 9 meters long! It was a hit with petit fours, turkish delights, brownies and blondies and of course a 3 tier wedding cake!
