Noosa Heads Wedding from Karen Buckle + CL Weddings & Events
Want to hear the greatest idea of all time? Eating one course of your wedding meal with each table at your reception. Brilliant, no?!? And although it might not be possible for each and every one of you, it was the perfect fit for this bride and groom's intimate (+ gorgeous) nuptials. Nuptials, mind you, that were planned and executed (with honeymoon!) by the team at CL Weddings & Events for a budget of $12,000. Amazing. See all of the pretty captured by Karen Buckle in the full gallery.
From the Bride... We wanted a modern and simple weekday wedding as they are generally more private and without the hysteria of a weekend. It was quieter and more intimate with only 20 of our immediate family and friends. We managed to do the whole wedding and honeymoon on a budget of $12,000.
The day was magical, the sun shone and everything was perfect, it really was. It was held in Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia and for anyone that knows Noosa its very relaxed and thats just how our wedding was. Guests travelled to Noosa for an extra long weekend where they all go to know each other well at pre and post wedding events. We walked down the aisle together, wrote our own vows, had personalised music play and we opted out of a bridal party due to having a small wedding and this also saved us money. Guests ate and drank exquisite food and wine and we ate a course with each table to share our love around. We had 4 courses rather than a cake as the day after the wedding was my 30th birthday where we all went on a Noosa River champagne breakfast cruise and had a birthday cake.
We did a lot of DIY to save money and they ended up being the special touches that made the day ours. These included the invitations, fan programs, favours, name cards, petal cones, videography, water bottles, a frame for taking photos and a finger print tree.
All in all the day was perfect, we wouldnt have changed a thing and all our guests raved it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
