Style Me Pretty Destination Welcomes Our Advertisers!

We are currently buried under a foot or so of snow here at SMP HQ, so dreams of jet-setting off to a gorgeous destination is at the top of my mind. The tippy top. So today we'll take a virtual trip courtesy of two of our newest family members at SMP Destination - Cook Islands and Tuscany Flowers. And they both just happen to be located in some of the prettiest places we ever did see, so forgive us if we get a little swept up in all they have to offer - because what they have to offer is pretty darn beautiful.

First on the intro list are the downright stunning Cook Islands. So pretty, in fact, I couldn't even believe they were real the first time my eyes set sight on their breathtaking blue waters. Oh, but they are. And for any of you lucky enough to pay them a visit, all I ask is that you please squeeze me into your suitcase...
About the Cook Islands... The little gem known as the Cook Islands is nestled in between Fiji and Tahiti at the heart of the Polynesian Circle. More secluded than Fiji, and more off the beaten path than Tahiti, the Cook Islands is the perfect destination for couples looking for a vacation that is out of the ordinary. The country is made up of 15 small islands - a northern group and a southern group. Rarotonga and Aitutaki are the country’s two most visited islands, both in the southern group. The Cook Islands are on the eastern side of the dateline, so the country is in the same time zone as Hawaii. It’s easy to get to the Cook Islands with the 9 ½ hour non-stop flight to Rarotonga from Los Angeles on Air New Zealand. Passengers board the flight from Los Angeles on Sunday night, and wake up the next morning ready to start their day when the flight lands in the Cook Islands around 7am. "Kia orana" means "hello" in Maori, the local language. However, everyone speaks English, and all of the locals are extremely friendly. The Cook Islands are known for their beautiful, white, sandy beaches and crystal-clear South Pacific waters. The islands run on “island time,” as the locals abide by a leisurely lifestyle. Couples seeking a relaxed vacation will surely enjoy the unhurried pace of life on the islands. A number of accommodation options are available in the Cook Islands, from family-friendly resorts, to adults-only hotels and luxurious private villas.

And then how about a stop in Italy? Florence, to be exact. To swim in a sea of the prettiest flowers from Tuscany Flowers. If that doesn't sound like perfection to you, I just don't know what would. Their work is like floral art I would hang on my wall if I could. It's beyond pretty, and we couldn't be happier to call them family now.
Tuscany Flowers was founded in 1997 by three expert florists and horticulturists: Antonio Magi, Mari Therese Nielsen and Gianni Berni. Located just outside the historic center of Florence, we primarily serve the Tuscan region but are available to travel anywhere in the world your dream wedding may be. Whether you are planning an extravagant wedding for 500 guests or a stylish dinner for 10, we can create the perfect mood and theme. Each client receives the same attention to detail and innovative approach regardless of the scale of the event. All of our weddings and events are made-to-measure, and we do not offer any kind of package. We provide everything décor-related, from the highest quality, seasonal flowers to a vast array of vases, chandeliers, candelabras, lanterns and beyond. All of our items are available in a variety of colors and materials and, given sufficient lead-time, we can shop for special accessories to complement your event. We love to meet our clients in person and discuss every detail in depth, so when in Florence, we would be happy to make an appointment to visit our showroom. However, if necessary, we can work together exclusively through email. We are proud to be a multi-cultural company with native English speakers, so language is not a problem. Tuscany Flowers collaborates with the finest wedding planners, caterers, hotels, villas, vineyards and photographers in Tuscany and around the world.
