From the Bride… Matt and I have been dating since high school, so it’s safe to say I have thought about our wedding a lot over the years. We grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and attended college in Evanston and Chicago, respectively, so having a city wedding was a no-brainer. With the help of family, friends, and amazing wedding planners, we were able to create a day that was very ‘us.’ My mom and I created our invitations, menus, ceremony programs, decorated mason jars, bubble containers, to-go dessert containers, and had so much fun along the way. Little details like my necklace, which my great grandfather gave to my great grandmother on their wedding day, and having my younger brother sing at the ceremony made the day incredibly special. My brother and Matt’s dad even surprised us by performing with our band at the reception! We had so much fun on our wedding day and were so lucky to have all our favorite people in one place to celebrate with us!
