I love any excuse to hop on the snail mail bandwagon, cover every available surface with heart doodles and eat my weight in macarons. So Valentine’s is, of course, at the tip top of my favorite holiday list. #1 in fact and it’s also a great day for soaking up inspiration for a Valentine’s themed wedding. If you’re considering saying “I Do” on the loviest love day ever, take note from this gold and pink infused shoot crafted by A Charming Occasion, Stella Bloom Designs and Lavender & Twine. Not only is it gorgeous and sprinkled with gold sequins but it also has inspiration for weddings that fall on the other 364 days of the year. Perfect for you non-Valentinesy types. See it all right here.
From Lavender & Twine… Our ultimate goal when coordinating this styled shoot was to create something intimate and soft, something that real brides and grooms would want for their own wedding. By using neutral colors, soft blushes and ivories, and pairing them with gold and silver, we were able to create a story of romance, but with a touch of glamour.
The venue was a private residence, completely secluded and absolutely gorgeous. It was full of greenery that became the perfect backdrop for our couple to feel comfortable and show the love that they truly feel for one another.
We left no detail untouched, and incorporated the same elements throughout every aspect of this vignette: gold accents, pink linen, a little sparkle, and lots and lots of pretty. Our flowers were a combination of peonies, ranunculus, and roses, which added to that exact romantic sense that we were looking for.
