Mexico Wedding at Casa Majahua from Paige Jones

Tying the knot on the gorgeous shoreline of Mexico always sounds like a good idea in my book. And from the looks of these gorgeous images snapped up by Paige Jones, it looks like a fabulous idea too. The easy yet elegant feel to this destination dream wedding makes me wish I was there, right now, celebrating this adorable duo. Since I can't do that, I'll just allow myself to get lost in the gallery for a bit. Care to join me? See it here.

From the Bride... Why Troncones, Mexico? After we were engaged we were certain we would have our wedding in Seattle over the summer. We are both from the Pacific Northwest and had always envisioned a Northwest wedding on the water. My dad was also sick (cancer) and we didn't know what kind of time we had. Planning was stressful, difficult and no fun at all. Two days before our engagement party we literally sat on the floor of our apartment and declared we could not do "this" (wedding in Seattle) and decided on a destination wedding. Troncones made the most sense because we love it so much and were already scheming how we could get all our friends there on a big group vacay. We also knew that no matter what happened over the next year, if we were in Troncones, my dad would be there.

Rings were designed and created by Saskia Moes from Portland, Oregon. A little story about the rings: My engagement ring was Ben's grandmothers. My wedding band was made from pieces of family jewelry melted down, and my mom gave us the three little diamonds that were in the band. Ben's ring is made from my dad's wedding ring. Saskia melted it down and had it made to fit Ben.
