From Gerber+Scarpelli Photography… Mallory and Mark had a beautiful wedding day at Lake Forest Academy’s Armour House. This venue is a Chicago-area classic; located in a northern suburb, it attracts a bride and groom looking for that romantic and natural feel.
The girls started the day by taking their time getting ready. We got to hang out in the bridal suite and enjoy the lovely July weather on the balcony. All the girls wore floral robes before transitioning into their gowns for the day.
The bride and groom didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but we still did some sneaky shots of the two! We put them in certain positions to get a photograph of them both without them seeing each other. You could tell they were going nuts and just wanted to see each other! It made the walk down the aisle that much more exciting.
After their fabulous outdoor ceremony, we did photos of the bride and groom and wedding party on the grounds of the Armour House property. Though it was extremely humid, everyone enjoyed themselves while walking around the gardens for photos. The reception was held inside, where the décor was amazing and guests had a great time.
