It was love at first sight with this gorgeous wedding and the bride’s amazing lace Monique Lhuillier gown. And it just kept getting better from there. Lens CAP Productions captured this fabulously elegant Cape Cod wedding and ya, we’re pretty much obsessed. With pops of coral playing against the blue ocean, it’s all about the pretty eye candy, people. Click here for the full gallery.
From Courtney from Lens CAP Productions… Meredith and Michael had a classy wedding on the Cape complete with the flawless Meredith in a stunning lace Monique Lhuillier and crystal strapped Jimmy’s on her feet. The uber handsome Michael wore a tux with a traditional red rose on his lapel. M&M had an outdoor ceremony overlooking the ocean and a lively daytime reception inside the Wequassett. Their gorgeous day was followed by an amazingly fun evening cabana party, complete with delicious appetizers, a DJ, a cozy firepit and of course plenty of cannonballs into the pool. The groom jumped in the pool (in his tux!) to start the party off right. These two sure know how to have fun in style! The couple and their guests totally lucked out with a warm New England fall day to boot. So sunny and perfect! All in all, it couldn’t have been more gorgeous, classy and fun!
From the Bride…Michael and I met three years ago in Boston’s North End on his best friend’s birthday. We both grew up spending summers on Cape Cod, so when we got engaged it seemed like the perfect place to celebrate old memories and make new ones. When we visited the Wequassett, we knew right away that it was the place we wanted to get married; we spent a night by the fire pit drinking wine – later to be the site of our most excellent pool after party!
Our wedding colors were coral and white, and I chose to keep my color palette very clean and light and give more of a pop of color to my bridesmaids, who wore various silk chiffon dresses from J. Crew. The girls looked gorgeous against the cool colors of the Harwich seascape!
My maid of honor assembled a lot of the details for the wedding, from hurricane vases for the cocktail hour, to the fan programs and the coral table numbers, incorporating this palette. We were already on the Cape so I didn’t want to come on too strongly with a nautical theme; the location is so romantic we just wanted to showcase the venue with some color and sea details. We had an absolutely gorgeous early Fall day, and we couldn’t have asked for a more fun, exciting, and beautiful day with all of our friends and family!
