From the Bride… I never really had a dream wedding mentality from early on in. The one thing I knew for sure was I wanted small and intimate wedding with everyone at one table similar to a community table. Finding the space to accommodate that was the challenge due to the fact I knew exactly what I wanted, simple yet elegant. No dancing, just a wonderful night to bring our families together for a beautiful dinner. My style is very modern and I don’t like a lot of color or fluff. I went with a very neutral color scheme of gray and green. The event was held at the Waldorf Astoria’s Hemingway room that was a gray background and my flowers were green and shades of white with pops of gray surrounded by candlelight. I wanted a rolling landscape so there was no distraction for conversation across the table and everyone could see each other. When I think of my wedding day and the few months leading up to it the best way I can describe it was no stress, simple, clean, modern and elegant. Looking back there is not one thing that I would change and it was one of the best nights to be surround by the most important people in our lives.
