Colorado Mountain Wedding from Brinton Studios
There’s almost nothing I love more than a good rustic wedding. The kind of wedding where twine, wood and lace are key design components, where guests enjoy homemade pie in lieu of a fancy three tiered cake, and where the most striking décor of all is nature itself. And that’s exactly what you get in this East Coast meets the Colorado mountains affair so perfectly captured by Brinton Studios with gorgeous blooms by Sweet Pea Flowers. From the Bride... Danny grew up in Colorado and I grew up on the East Coast. We met and live in Colorado so it was only natural that we wanted to get married here. We knew many of our guests would be traveling from the East Coast to celebrate our wedding so our main goal in finding a venue was to give our guests a true Colorado mountain experience. We instantly knew we had found the place when we visited Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado. It allowed us to plan a wedding that truly represented us and Colorado without having to be "theme-y."
I'm a graphic designer and Danny is a web programmer so the design of the whole event was important to us. We set out to plan a wedding that was uniquely us and different from all the weddings that we had seen planned in this same space. It all came together perfectly and, thanks to the help of Alicia from Duet Events in Boulder, the day went off without a hitch.
Our guests danced the night away and raved about the attention to detail at brunch the next morning. Danny and I couldn't be happier with how perfect our wedding day was.
