I’m totally on board with any wedding that involves the words salsa music and poolside and this pretty gem sent into us from Elaine Palladino Photography just so happens to involve both. You just know that this was one fabulous celebration and judging from what’s in the full gallery, you’re guaranteed to be inspired. Click here for the full gallery.
From the Bride…Marcus and I wanted a classic and elegant feel to our wedding where our guests would feel at home. We didn’t want an over-the-top event, just a beautiful night to celebrate our love. Since both of our families are Hispanic, we decided that the best way to have everyone enjoy the night was to incorporate Cuban staples including dominoes, cigars, salsa music, and espressos all while being poolside.
There are two moments that I will never forget: 1. standing outside of the church on Lincoln Road ready to walk down the aisle where a group of strangers gathered and celebrated when the doors opened; and 2. saying my vows. I’ve never said words more sincerely.
I would advise future brides/grooms to be present on their big day from the moment they open their eyes to the minute they go to bed that night, and laugh hard. You’ll forget the small details that may not have been perfect, but you’ll never forget the feeling of getting married and celebrating life with your spouse for the first time. Soak it up!
