Pine Mountain Wedding from Morgan Trinker Photography

It’s no secret that we love a good, old fashioned Southern wedding. You know the kind that’s laid back, yet still stunning. Casual yet with a hint of elegance…this, my friends is it. Morgan Trinker Photography captured this super sweet couple as they said their I Do’s and danced the night away with their guests under the stars. See it all right here.

From Morgan Trinker Photography Laura and Bryant got married in the charming small town of Pine Mountain, Georgia. It’s the kind of place where, after we checked into our hotel the day before the wedding, we meandered into a local (and incredibly delicious) restaurant and just so happened to meet the florist for the wedding AND the owner of Sweet Home Plantation, the venue, while we were there. Of course they’re friends with each other, and we got to chat with them for quite awhile. It’s the kind of town where everyone knows everyone, friendly faces are everywhere, and no one ever appears to be in a rush or worried about anything.

That’s what made it the perfect spot for a couple like Laura and Bryant to tie the knot. Two of the most laid-back people you’ll ever meet, they wanted a no-fuss wedding with a fun party atmosphere, while also keeping the look and feel of it elegant and oh-so-Southern. After their Catholic church ceremony, guests headed to the plantation home, where they feasted on BBQ and all the “fixins” and danced well into the evening. One of my favorite parts of the day was when everyone sent Laura and Bryant off with sparklers, and they hopped into a gorgeous vintage Thunderbird to drive off. It was the perfect end to a wedding that simply oozed joy and charm.
