From Orange Girl Photographs... Jennifer and Anthony held a unique and elegant intimate wedding at The Post Hotel in Lake Louise, Canada. The Post Hotel is known for its stunning mountain location, impeccable service and impressive wine collection. I find The Post Hotel to be especially magical in the winter when they create an outdoor ice rink and dress the hotel for the holidays.

Jennifer and Anthony have spent some memorable weekends at The Post Hotel and on their ice rink. They chose the ice rink for their first look location and wedding photographs where Jennifer surprised Anthony with a wedding ring she chose for him from Tiffany's. After taking photographs outside in the below freezing temperatures, the bride slipped upstairs to her room where a warm bath awaited her, and Anthony joined their guests for a special wine tasting. I loved that Jennifer and Anthony created a unique experience for their guests by inviting them to a private wine tasting just after checking into the hotel and before their evening ceremony. It was a lovely way for the guests to visit and learn about wine while sampling a special collection of wine hand-selected by Jennifer and Anthony.

Jennifer's nephews walked her down the aisle with Porsche cars in hand. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a candlelit champagne toast with the couple before heading downstairs for an intimate dinner. Their wedding cake was designed and created by the pastry chef at The Post Hotel, who spent weeks sketching the Eiffel Tower in detail to be able to recreate it in chocolate for the couple. The wedding cake was chosen to be the shape of the Eiffel Tower because Anthony proposed to Jennifer in Paris on the Alexander Bridge at the stroke of midnight when the tower is lit up and sparkles. The groom also celebrated his 40th birthday on their wedding day, so Jennifer carefully worked with hotel to organize a surprise birthday party for the groom in the hotel's cozy pub following dinner, where a DJ waited to start the birthday party. Jennifer and Anthony's intimate wedding reflected their love of the mountains, good food and wine and the company of dear friends.
