From Steadfast Weddings...My name is Keith. I smile a lot. I laugh a lot. I'm self motivated. I have a strong work ethic. I'm told I'm easy to work with. I was born and raised in Hawaii, but I can hardly get the sentence out before people ask me why I left. It was a great experience getting to grow up there, and after high school I moved to Florida and earned a Marketing degree from the University of Central Florida. Hawaii is a very expensive place to live, and after college I just didn't feel a strong desire to move back. I did Marketing for a corporation for five years, and all the while I used my little free time to take on various video projects.
In early 2010, I was given the opportunity to go to the middle east (Abu Dhabi & Dubai) to shoot a documentary, but it meant that I would have to give up my marketing career, health insurance, apartment, and all my financial security. I knew that I might never get another chance to visit that part of the world, and I had to follow my passion. It was one of the most difficult decisions of my life, especially considering the tough economic times we are living in, but I believe I made the right decision to leave the corporate world and pursue videography full time. To me it seems that following our hearts leads to the most fulfilling parts of our lives, and I think that especially applies to marriage. My favorite thing about shooting video is that I have a limitless creative outlet while capturing timeless moments, and nothing is more timeless than weddings. I live a pretty active lifestyle when I'm not at the computer burning my eyeballs editing for countless hours. I enjoy surfing, paddleboarding, hiking, and rock climbing.
