I don’t believe this little number captured by the lovely Gladys Jem could be more charming if it tried. It simply couldn’t. Because I can barely handle all the details that were perfectly placed by Charmed Events Group where it stands now, it all just makes me want to squeal. It’s California chic yet feels like the most intimate of dinner parties. It’s twinkling lights and warm embraces. It’s everything. So perhaps I should just surrender and squeal away over all the sweet touches, pretty palettes and happy florals from Tanjeeryn Designs…I have a feeling I won’t be alone. See it all here.
From the Bride… One of my favorite parts of our wedding day was sitting at the sweetheart table during dinner, holding Tony’s hand, and looking out at the lights and listening to the excited chatter. We both felt so moved and fortunate realizing that this was the only time all our favorite people were in one place at the same time, in celebration and love.
The Rengstorff House was the first venue Tony and I visited when we began our venue hunt. I fell in love. But, we did shop around for some time and nothing seemed quite right. We came back to the R house after a couple months of hunting and knew this was always the “the one”. We loved the intimate feel and charm of the house. The house is a historic Victorian and most of the wedding took place outdoors in the garden areas so my theme was a “Victorian Garden” – the idea was to keep a lot of it classic and clean and allow the natural and historical beauty of the venue to shine.
We personalized our wedding with our own touches (oyster bar was very me, scotch and cigar was all Tony, ceremony was personalized and so special because our dear friend Dave officiated so beautifully.) Tony and I had the goal of being as present as possible at our wedding and I think we accomplished that. We’ve been together for a long time so our family and friends know us both really well and were all so excited for us to tie the knot! It was an amazing day…we enjoyed every minute of it and we’d do it all over again if we could. We had a great team of vendors to thank for making our dream day come true.
