Since Tuesday's Cook Islands post, I've been dreaming of all things sun + sand. And with my suit case mentally packed with my tropical must-haves, I'm basically ready to go at a moment's notice! It just doesn't get more gorgeous that the Cook Islands and I, personally, would be completely content lounging on the secluded white beaches with my honey, but beach bumming is just the beginning of all there is to do in this amazing locale! From renting a scooter or car and exploring the island (and it's only 19 miles around so you can't get lost!) or planning a romantic dinner under the stars, there is something for every couple looking to relax and connect.

Get this lovelies, you can take the 45-minute flight to the Island of Aitutaki which boasts one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world and spend a romantic night in a private villa or overwater bungalow! Feeling adventurous? Take a kayak or paddle boards to the Island of Motu and have a private picnic or take a cooking class and learn how to make favorite local dishes! If you've had your fair share of sunshine, take a day to shop at the Saturday market which is full of quirky treasures and hand carved statues and often there's music or a local dance show on stage! Don't forget to try the local iced coffee or coconut drink-SO refreshing! You'll need to stay for weeks on end to fit in all the fabulous adventures (and wonderful relaxation!)
