Lake Michigan Wedding from stephanie n. baker + Larisa Graham
This next little number simply gives me the warm and fuzzies. And although I can't pin point the precise detail that is charming up my Monday morning, I'm pretty sure it's the combination of all the lovely nestled in this Lake Michigan soiree from stephanie n. baker. It's the type of party where you can just tell people hugged a bit tighter and smiled a bit wider, and it all made for one delightful day. Click here for more.

From stephanie n. baker... Meghann and Dylan got married on a brisk, fall day in Bay Harbor, located in northern Michigan. Their ceremony took place on the breezy shoreline of Lake Michigan where they nixed the traditional sand ceremony for a joining-of-waters ceremony to reflect their love of the outdoors. They gathered water in mason jars from their four favorite lakes and joined them with the help of family members (the moms did the first joining.) After the ceremony, we drove to the event's barn, but on the way we stopped and got some fun shots on the shoreline as well as a few fun shots in downtown Charlevoix on the drawbridge (which opened for us!)
The reception was an awesome event! There were plush couches for people to sit comfortably, bocce ball, corn hole, all the food served was locally raised and organic, the drinks were creative, and instead of doing a traditional wedding cake, they had pies! After dinner, the party began with FABULOUS music from the fun and energetic Lucas Paul Band. These guys were a good time!
From Larisa Graham Videography... Meghann and Dylan's wedding started on the amazing shoreline of Lake Michigan at Bay Harbor. The absolutely picturesque ceremony took place outside with waves and a perfect fall day in the background. Meghann and Dylan are a truly genuine couple who are so obviously in love, they were the perfect couple to shoot and made my job so easy since they are so comfortable with one another and in front of the camera. The reception continued in Charlevoix, Michigan at a farm set around a barn that was surrounded by white tents, chairs, a bar and some lawn games for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Dinner was held in the tent outside the barn and everyone moved inside for music and dancing where the details inside the barn were just as beautiful as they were at the wedding and cocktail hour.
