Farm Wedding from Southern Charm Photography

I love that this adorable bride knew ever since she was little that she would get married on her parent’s ranch and in particular, on her grandpa’s favorite hay field. If that doesn’t tell you something about her sweet and sentimental soul, I don’t know what will. And with the help of Southern Charm Events she threw herself one fabulous dream wedding. Southern Charm Photography captured all the fun, autumn details and you can see it all for yourself right here.

From The Bride… Josh and I have a fairy tale story. We had both been through our fair share of bad relationships, but when we flew over 6000 miles to Australia, all of that ended. Josh and I were studying abroad when we finally found each other. It only took a year really for us to both realize that we had met our soul mate. After that, things just fell into place.

Since I was a little girl, I have known what I wanted for my wedding. I wanted to get married out at my parent’s ranch on my grandpa’s favorite hay field, so that’s what we did. It was a beautiful “pinterest wedding,” you could say.  The country, shabby chic wedding was the perfect combination of really what represents Josh and me. We had tuxes with boots, a dessert bar, adult beverages and, of course, a live band.  It was everything I had ever dreamed of. The outside wedding was beautiful and could not have turned out better — thank goodness, because we did not have a plan B. We had a huge wedding party with 10 groomsmen and bridesmaids, as well as my twin cousins as junior bridesmaids with the cutest little flower girl you could imagine. We had all fall colors, and I let my girls pick their own long dresses within the fall color scheme, which worked out perfectly! Southern Charm Photography was a joy to work with and made our day so much easier, and their sister company Southern Charm Designs gave us the wedding day of our dreams!

Josh and I had a little under 400 people come, and everyone there said how much they enjoyed the food, desert and decorations. It was truly a magical night, and I wish I could remember it more. Looking through pictures, I get to see things for the very first time, and it honestly was a dream come true. Josh and I feel so blessed that everything went picture perfect, and we definitely feel like God knew what he was doing on November 3rd, 2012.
