Aspen Wedding at T Lazy 7 Ranch from Bluebird Productions

Just as the saying goes, there’s no place like home. Especially for this pretty Colorado girl living in London. So off she went with her beau, returning home to the gorgeous mountains of Aspen. All the details held a special place in their hearts, from the bride’s handmade English lace veil to the gorgeous cranberry glass collection. Bluebird Productions planned it all while Chris Humphreys Photography captured all the pretty. See it all right here.

From Bluebird Productions Emily and Alex’s August wedding was a labor of love. Emily called us from London; she was a Colorado girl living abroad and engaged to a Scottish man. She wanted to get married in the most beautiful place in the world, her home state, and incorporate elements from their shared histories: a scotch bar for Alex, cranberry glass collected by her deceased grandmother, a family heirloom attached to her bouquet. Emily’s mother made her veil using pieces of English lace. The pattern of lace was mimicked on the piping of icing on the cake. Emily hand-printed almost all of the paper goods on a Gocco printer. The designs incorporated old Colorado prints, British poems and graphic design that Alex and Emily both love.
