We find ourselves in a state of awe quite a bit here at SMP. Quite a bit. And that is precisely the state I found myself in when I first laid eyes on this sunlit set of nuptials. It’s captured by Aaron Courter Photography in a way that makes me want to give him a big hug, and more importantly showcases this couple’s romantic yet relaxed vision for their beautiful day. It’s a day overflowing with love and florals from Zest Floral and Event Design that are the perfect accompaniment to this vineyard affair. See even more right here.
From Aaron Courter Photography... From Lauren & Tim’s wedding was about bringing together their friends and family from across the US, to the place they now call home. Ponzi Vineyards matched the bill for an intimate, personal wedding with simple, elegant details and of course the gorgeous evening light and beautiful chemistry between Lauren and Tim.
From the Bride… I would describe our wedding day as incredibly relaxed. It was really important to us that our day was completely free of stress so that we could enjoy every moment. This desire to keep things simple and uncomplicated is really what drove the design concept for our wedding. Our venue, a Vineyard in the Oregon Wine Country founded by an Italian-American family, certainly influenced many of our choices. From the Bocce Ball cocktail hour, to the classical acoustic guitarist, to the café lighting, there’s no denying that we were inspired by the Vineyards in Tuscany.
We wanted the day to feel warm, organic, romantic and intimate, so we selected a warm color palate of peaches, pinks, and rich browns. Hailey from Zest Floral and Event Design delivered the most stunning flowers, and placed candles everywhere–which gave off such a warm and romantic glow once the sun went down. The event was intimate, only 40 guests, and the majority of whom traveled from all over the United States to be with us. I was completely touched and overwhelmed by the love that surrounded us. It was such a beautiful and emotional day, and when Tim and I talk about our wedding we just get huge smiles on our faces. It was the perfect day, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
