Los Altos History Museum Wedding from Connie Lyu Photography

Have you ever come across something so beautiful, so perfectly delicate you simply can’t look away? This wedding from Connie Lyu Photography is precisely that for me. As hard as I might try it continues to pull me in deeper and deeper into the full gallery of gorgeous to take a look at just one more image of this perfectly in love couple. At their personal, deeply-rooted wedding filled with florals from Lani Elizabeth that truly define lovely. At their “I can’t believe I get to marry you” look they give each other. I say this gallery is one lovely place to be today.

From the Bride… The most important aspect of our wedding was to honor and give thanks to God in the presence of all our family and friends. Our other priority was to create a relaxed environment where our guests could enjoy themselves. We wanted our wedding day to feel intimate and personal so we made almost all of the items ourselves–from the escort cards, guest book and table numbers, to the bunting flags, pom poms and drink stirrers. And we included things that were meaningful to us, like the vintage typewriter that David used when he proposed, mason jars that we bought together at yard sales, and a playlist of our favorite songs during dinner. At the same time, we tried not to get caught in too many details and frills, focusing instead on enjoying the day with each other as well as the company of our loved ones.

The Los Altos History Museum was the perfect venue for us. We both love the outdoors and fell in love with the museum’s naturally beautiful grounds. The fact that the venue had all kinds of fun quirks (like a nearby orchard, vintage farm equipment and galleries that were open to guests during cocktail hour) was an added bonus! All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful day. Everything went smoothly, thanks to our wonderful vendors and friends. We are so grateful to the venue manager, the amazing caterers, our talented photographer, my wonderful hair and make-up team, and especially to all our incredible and supportive family and friends. We are so happy that we had such a perfect day with loved ones and that we’re finally married.
