Downton Abbey Wedding Inspiration from Nathan Peel Photography + Blue Dahlia Events + Inspired Floral Design

To say I’m excited about this shoot is a severe understatement. The inspiration comes from the television show that is hugely popular in the name of fabulous design, gorgeous fashion, and romance like nothing else – Downton Abbey. To up the excitement centered around this weekend’s premiere, we have a stunning Downton-inspired shoot from a phenomenal team (the likes of Blue Dahlia Events, Inspired Floral Design, brideface and the talented Nathan Peel Photography). Let the giddy tea drinking commence (in the full image gallery, of course)!

From Blue Dahlia Events … With the premiere of Downton Abbey Season Three coming up on January 6, 2013, we wanted to pay homage to the captivating show with a Downton-inspired wedding shoot. The romantic world of Downton Abbey drove the look and feel of the design. Soft tones of pink, gray-blue, and champagne brought romance to the scene. To connect with the local history of the area, the Peterloon Estate was selected as the venue. The old, english-style mansion of offers the perfect backdrop for the vintage-styled shoot. Brick exterior, traditional rooms, and gorgeous green grounds are wonderfully compliment the classic, garden-y touches of the design.
