It was love at first sight with this perfectly simple Lake Placid wedding. The moment I read that the stunning bride not only made the seasonal bouquets + boutonnieres, but also wore (and altered herself!) her mother’s wedding dress, well, I was head-over-heels. Ampersand Wedding Photography captured the High Peaks Resort soiree beautifully and lucky for us, there’s a gallery full of even more!
From Ampersand Wedding Photography… Meg and Andy had a super-simple yet beautiful Lake Placid wedding. No frills about it; they just allowed the natural beauty of the landscape to decorate. The bride did literally everything herself: dress alterations (on her mother’s dress), bouquets and boutonnieres. They didn’t have a cake, instead choosing a cookie bar, and they only hired a guitar player, Dwight Phetteplace. The church is Adirondack Community Church, and the reception was held at the High Peaks Resort.
