Winter Brides rejoice, your season’s style just got seriously chic thanks to this inspiration-filled shoot by Brittany Lauren Photography. It’s practically overflowing with beautiful yet creative ideas for your cold-weather soiree (we have Champagne Wedding Coordination to thank for that), and the work of art florals by Dalia’s Fine Designs will surely cause your jaw to drop. And it will probably stay that way because there is jaw-droppingly gorgeous creativity around every corner, and you can see it right here.
From Brittany Lauren Photography… Winter is not the most popular time to get married in the Pacific Northwest. Most brides opt for an outdoor summer wedding, which is beautiful, but we wanted to showcase that you can have an awesome, chic, and gorgeous wedding that is everything you’ve ever dreamed of during the winter even if it’s raining outside. We wanted the shoot to still have that cozy fall/winter feeling, but not scream holiday wedding.
The florals were absolutely phenomenal. They contained a mix of cotton and in season lettuce/cabbages. We kept to a strict color scheme with warm tones, but included an icy metallic blue to add a pop. We used brick and cement as super affordable place settings and kept things industrial feeling with a mixture of metals and wood. We wanted to showcase that even in the rainiest of cities you can still have an awesome wedding!
