From Anna Wu Photography... An hour east of Sacramento, there lies a tiny little town called Amador City. Today, with less than 200 residents, it is but a charming little remnant of the California gold rush. Nyesha and Eugene had vacationed here and stayed at the Imperial Hotel a year before, and they decided it would also be the perfect place for their wedding.

It was a hot summery day, a beautiful backdrop for their intimate garden wedding with exactly 28 guests. Everything about the day was delightful, unique and personal. I simply loved it all, from the bride’s amazing sense of style and the groom’s rambunctious Russian family to the quaintness of this little hotel in a little town, tucked away in the gold country’s hidden nugget.
