With Christmas literally just one night of sugar plum visions away, we couldn’t help but share a little holiday soiree. The kicker? It’s also a little Moroccan – and it’s in L.A. A trifecta that had me happy dancing already, but throw Alders Photography into the mix, and you’ve got my Christmas present. Seriously, this is all I need – a gorgeous wedding with lots of red and SO much style. Click here for more of our gift to you!

We both attended the graduate film program at USC. While we never met, I had seen films shot by Bryan & was impressed. Years later, I was producing a TV show & needed a cinematographer. When Bryan dropped off his resume, I took one look at him & knew he had the job! (AND the girl!) After 6 years, 4 TV shows & 2 Emmy nominations, we were married!
Church of the Angels is a beautiful historic church in the western US with its amazing stained glass & intimate feel. The reception was held at Hotel Figueroa. The Moroccan style hotel was the site of our second kiss. Why this wedding style, colors, etc? We love Christmas & exotic travel, so we married the two ideas! The church’s wooden pews & gorgeous red brick made for a classic holiday ceremony. The Moroccan reception was the perfect Christmas compliment with its jewel tones & fun spirit.
The most vivid memory is the first time I saw Bryan (which was before the ceremony in a gorgeous Moroccan hall). We were both in tears. I’m so glad we had that private time together. Another few moments I will always remember was my dad telling me he loved me before walking me down the aisle & hearing my best friend’s voice sing “At Last”.
