Elopements have a special kind of character. From Claire Morgan Photography... This wedding was an elopement that took place shortly after Christmas last year in the beautiful historical city of Salzburg, Austria. The couple, Erin and Brett, are from North Carolina and decided to get married in a European location they had never traveled to before. Erin had her friends and family write wishes for them on the soles of her shoes and also had with her mother's handbag and grandmother's handkerchief with her so she felt a part of her family was with them. They had the civil ceremony at Schloss Mirabell and the church ceremony in Schloss Hellbrunn. I spent most of the day with them taking pictures at various locations around the old city.
