I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Fall and Winter weddings. I don't know if it's the rich jewel tones, the crisp weather or the cozy vibe of the season (or a combo of all of the above), but they've long been a favorite of mine. So, when this stunning Temecula shoot came our way, it was like Christmas morning. Christmas morning with one glorious image after another from Closer to Love Photography and layers upon layers of beautiful details styled to perfection by Timeless Love Events. Prepare to get your swoon on and join me in the gallery for SO much more.

From Closer to Love Photography... Closer to Love Photography and Timeless Love Events collaborated on a beautifully-detailed and inspiring fall/winter-themed shoot. A fun little fact about our model bride and groom: Daniele and Dominic were on the last season of the CBS show "Big Brother." They met on the show and kept in touch after the season was over. They fell in love and are now engaged to be married in January 2013! They were so much fun during the shoot and we could not have had a better bride and groom to put the finishing touches on this incredible shoot.
From Timeless Love Events... For the sweet suite, we used a vintage tea cart. All the glassware to hold the desserts were vintage. The desserts were all made by Liz’s Sweetest Suite, and she used edible gold on all of the desserts to give the treats an elegant feel. The gold ribbon cake was adorned with an antique cake topper. The sign-in was built around inspiration from Juliet’s Wall in Verona, Italy. Juliet’s Wall is a wall where admirers and lovers can leave love notes, and the legend is that those people will have everlasting love. We used an industrial salvaged grate to build the wall. The idea was for guests to write a note with words of wisdom to the bride and groom and place it in the wall, giving the bride and groom everlasting love.
For the altar, we used our signature piece: a chandelier. The chandelier was framed by a vintage frame and draping fabric. To tie in the fall feel, the aisle was covered with scattered leaves. The guests sat in all antique chairs, many of which are from France. The sweetheart table was set up to frame the couple. To do this, we incorporated antique candlesticks at various heights and a fall-inspired bouquet at the center that really drew the eye to the couple. The couple sat in high-back, antique armed chairs. These chairs really brought the fall feel into the sweetheart table with the distressed wood. We wanted the bouquet and boutonniere to have the feel that it belonged in a pile of leaves on a crisp cool fall day. The bouquet was made from maroon dahlias, various wheats, gold mums, cattails, eucalyptus and gold-sprayed wildflowers. The combination of these flowers really popped against the décor and natural landscape. The boutonniere was made of similar materials with a dahlia bud in the center to give it a more masculine feel.
Champagne bottles with the couples name hanging from the necks were placed in an antique planter made into an ice bucket. The shelves underneath the ice bucket were lined with antique champagne glasses with "cheers" tags atop vintage doilies. The vanity was very elegant and romantically-inspired. We used as much antique gold as we could to give the bride the elegant feeling she deserves on her big day. We hung an antique mirror above the vanity from a vintage bird cage stand with beautiful, sheer, gold fabric draping. The vanity was covered with re-purposed vintage jewelry, as well as a garter made by Trigger Jewelry.
