We're constantly finding (and promptly adding to our Little Black Book) phenomenal talent in the industry and hoping we can hook them up with a super awesome couple. This wedding is proof that not only does it work, and we are the best matchmakers around, but it is gorgeous when two people meet and fall in love - with weddings. This bride first found Allyson Magda Photography right here on SMP, and boy are we glad these two hit it off, because we have a gallery filled to bursting with some extra gorgeous images!

We started planning our wedding and the first thing that we agreed on was that we wanted a wedding that our guests left feeling like they had shared in an amazing and beautiful day with two people that really love each other.
When we booked our venue we had the choice of July 7th or April 21st, we opted for April with the saying “April showers bring May flowers,” echoing in our heads. In the months prior to the wedding we diligently checked the weather channel for rain. We had selected our venue based off of the beautiful and intimate garden space and with the threat of rain looming we could just picture our magical day turned into a drizzly mess. On some miraculous turn of events not only did we not have rain, we actually had a sunny 98-degree day. Even though the little details I had planned to help make our guests more comfortable in the possibly dreary weather like shawls and umbrellas, went untouched it was worth it for the perfection that was our special day. Our sun filled wedding also made for ideal photographs from our unbelievable photographer. Allyson is able to create these stunning images by playing with the sunlight; she uses it to enhance every gorgeous detail of the day. I first saw her images right here on Style Me Pretty and was captivated by them. I never thought that I would one day be able to have some one as amazing as her capture our special day. Seeing the images she took of our wedding truly makes me feel like one really lucky girl!
The wedding basically came together flawlessly. Because of the April showers we were given a garden setting for our ceremony full of lush white garden roses blooming all around us and full wisteria blossoms cascading down through the arbor where we said our vows. These natural details of the venue were accented perfectly by our abundance of white hydrangea that lined the aisle and the beautiful white bouquets carried by the stunning bridesmaids. The black and white details of the wedding really popped with all of the greenery that surrounded us. Then with a decadent dinner over looking the lake and surrounded by family and friends, I don’t think Chris or I could have asked for a better evening.
