When the venue is named something like Secrets on the Lake, we just know we have a delightfully romantic wedding on our hands. And that's precisely what we have here from Karen Buckle Photography with this wedding so filled with pretty colors that we just might want to eat it. Yes, I know you can't eat a wedding, but if you could, this one would be absolutely delicious because every bit is as sweet as can be (just reference the confetti toss at the end of the aisle and you'll know exactly what I mean). From the Bride... We couldn't have asked for a better wedding; everything came together beautifully to make for a perfect day. Secrets on the Lake in Montville provided a picturesque setting with rolling green lawns, landscaped rock pools, clear blue skies and Lake Baroon in the background. We kept things light and casual with the ceremony held by the side of the lake, and the canape-style reception was held immediately after on a gorgeous decked area. The location was the perfect size for our 50 guests, and the service of the Secrets staff was beyond compare. After some sunset shots in Maleny with our lovely photographer, Karen Buckle, and the magnificent Glasshouse Mountains as a backdrop, we capped of the perfect day with a casual dinner in Montville with our family and friends.
