Destination weddings in Las Vegas can often times conjure up thoughts of Elvis Clad officients and drive-through “I Do’s” but not this wedding. Nope, not in the least. It is elegant vows set against the prettiness of the Four Seasons Hotel-Mandalay Bay and there is not an Elvis in sight. Instead, we have a Bride and Groom celebrating lots of love amongst a sea of sunny neutrals with Glass Jar Photography snapping away. Pore through it all right here.
From Glass Jar Photography… Courtney and Steve wanted to do something fun and different for their wedding, and what better way than to go from their home town outside Toronto, Canada and head to Las Vegas! They choose the Four Season at Mandalay Bay with a soft, clean vintage touch theme designed by Brit Bertino the wedding planner and the bride. We met the couple at the Neon Boneyard the day before for some photos and their “engagement” session, then the next day was the official wedding.
Courtney and Steve choose the massive staircase to the Four Seasons as their “Moment” and right after was the sweet traditional Jewish ceremony with all the fun stuff down to breaking the glass. After the ceremony they had a cocktail hour in the courtyard to meet and greet all the guest that flew in from Canada, followed by the reception by the Fountain outside the Four Seasons. The Reception was a 4 course surf and turf meal followed by an amazing fun funfetti and sprinkles cake.
During the reception, they had a photobooth set up next to the open bar so people would be “loose enough” to try it out and have fun. Next to that was a real Cuban cigar station were an actual Cuban hand-rolled your choice of smoke!! All surrounded by a candy bar that lead to a gorgeous view of the Las Vegas sky. The night ended with loads of dancing and everyone jumping in the fountain to celebrate.
