I sort of feel a little awkward about this next wedding. Because it’s quite clear that I have fallen madly in love with the bride. When I know good and well that I should give equal play to both the bride and the groom (who isn’t too shabby himself by the way). But I can’t help it. I love her. I want to look exactly like her. I want to steal her perfectly lovely style and keep it as my very own. I love her. I really do. From Esther of Esther Mathieu Photography… Samuel and Theresa are dear friends of mine and I was more than excited to photograph their wedding. Being the type of people that wake up at sunrise to shop flea markets to find the perfect item, I knew their wedding would be full of DIY and antique details, and they delivered!
They chose to get married outdoor in a field at Todd Farm, a flea market they go to every Sunday morning, which was very fitting. The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate. Theresa looked stunning in her antique dress and Sam looked dapper. The guests moved over to the reception held under a tent right night to the ceremony site. All of the food they served was vegan and amazing. The sodas and sparkling wine had 1920’s labels the bride found and applied to the bottles. The day ended perfectly with some fun and dancing under the tent, lit solely by string lights.
