From the Bride... Dan and I had thought a lot about our wedding even before we got engaged. We wanted it to be the perfect blend between style and grace and a great party. And I cannot be more pleased with how it turned out! I have always been inspired by Grace Kelly. She was a classic beauty and my muse for my wedding day. Our venue was a beautiful, rustic, yet classic winery located in Temecula, California. Our goal was to enhance the natural beauty of our venue without overpowering it, in true Princess Grace fashion. We chose a color palette of white, champagne and ivory. The only pop of color were the bridesmaids' beautiful J.Crew dresses in Dusty Shale. The winery was in full bloom in June, so the muted colors of our wedding were the perfect compliment to the natural beauty of the vineyards.
The day was flawless. It was simple but stylish, classic but contemporary. I especially loved the homemade touches that some of my very talented friends and family crafted for me. The programs, rustic signs, and sparkler send-off gave our wedding the modern touch that I hoped for. And, of course, the dance floor was full all night, which to us was the best sign of success!
